Aaron Waddell is currently a Graduate Research Assistant in Dr. Daiqing Liao's laboratory at the University of Florida. He is a PhD Candidate nearing the completion of his doctoral program. He attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate training in the Biomedical Sciences, where he graduated with honors.
His current work at the University of Florida involves investigating the use of novel CBP/p300 inhibitors in cancer treatment and elucidating the mechanisms behind how histone acetylation drives oncogenic transcriptional programs in cancer cells.
