Yongjun Jiang is Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. He received his undergraduate with honors degree M.D. and Ph.D. from Nanjing University.
During Dr. Jiang’s training, he developed a keen focus on research of ischemic stroke. On Sep 2017, he then moved to Guangzhou Medical University. He has begun on the research on the pontine infarction. Since then, he developed multiple ways to make an infarction in the pons of mouse and rat.
Now, his research program focuses on the pathophysiological mechanism of pontine infarction.
