Anqi is currently a PhD student at the Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at University of Delaware. Anqi received her undergraduate with honors at the Department of Linguistics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and joined University of Delaware for her PhD study after graduation. Currently, during her PhD training, she is working with Dr. Zhenghan Qi in the Language Acquisition and Brain Laboratory on the relationship between statistical learning and language heterogeneity among children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her main research areas also include vocabulary development, social interaction, and word learning from context in typically developing children and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Combining both online behavioral data collection and neuroimaging techniques, Anqi is also developing research projects in brain-to-brain coupling now to investigate the association between interaction and communication in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
