Christina is a research assistant in Dr. Tomomi Ichinose's lab at Wayne State University's School of Medicine. She obtained her B.S in 2018 from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Neuroscience. After obtaining her degree, Christina joined the Ichinose lab in June 2018. Her research focuses on the motion detection circuit, more specifically the behavioral changes seen after altering the circuit. She hopes to eventually be able to use her knowledge of the retinal network to help elucidate mechanisms of disease and disorder in the human retina.
