Andreas Bikfalvi is Professor and Director of the Angiogenesis and Tumor Microenvironment Laboratory at the University Bordeaux and at INSERM (INSERM U1029). He is a renowned investigator in the cancer and vascular biology field. He was a senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) and received in 2011 the Mitjavile Prize from the French Academy of Medicine for his research as well as two book prizes (Académie de Médecine, 2004; Académie Nationale des Belles Lettres, 2017).
