Characterization of pH-Dependent Reversible Self-Assembly of Amyloid Beta 1-40-Coated Gold Colloids

Here, we present a systematic method describing the quasi-reversible self-assembly of the amyloid beta 1-40 (Aβ₁_-₄₀)-coated 20 nm gold aggregates. The nano-size-dependent quasi-reversible networking between peptides was correlated with specific amino acids or sections of the Aβ₁_-₄₀ monomer.
