Micro-dissection of Rat Brain for RNA or Protein Extraction from Specific Brain Region

Hi, I am Quint from Department of Anatomy, university of Hong Kong. Today I'm going to introduce how to micro dissect red brain into four major paths, A factor photo cortex s stratum at hippocampus. Here is a schematic image to show how we dissect the brain.

There is three cuts. The first cut plane is at the connection of of factor bulb and the frontal cortex. The second cut plane is at the ion of the corpus Callum.

The third cut plane is at an anterior tip of the phonics. After three cuts, there will be four brain paths. On the left side is a factor.
