Joshua Adams is an MD/PhD Student at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a graduate student in the Interdepartmental Program on Developmental Biology and is preparing to defend his thesis in the lab of Hamed Jafar-Nejad. His work has been on developmental biology and genetics in mouse models of human disease and has worked on genetic modifiers of Alagille syndrome and in the pathogenesis of NGLY1 deficiency. Upon finishing his MD and PhD he is aiming to enter a residency in Pediatric Neurology and intents to pursue a career in academic medicine with clinical and research components.
