Learning-related potentiation of synaptic strength at Cornu ammonis subfield 1 (CA1) hippocampal excitatory synapses is dependent on neuronal activity and the activation of glutamate receptors. However, molecular mechanisms that regulate and fine-tune the expression of long-term potentiation (LTP) are not well understood. Recently it has been indicated that neurogranin (Ng), a neuron-specific, postsynaptic protein that is phosphorylated by protein kinase C, potentiates synaptic transmission in an LTP-like manner. Here, we report that a Ng mutant that is unable to be phosphorylated cannot potentiate synaptic transmission in rat CA1 hippocampal neurons and results in a submaximal expression of LTP. Our results provide the first evidence that the phosphorylation of Ng can regulate LTP expression.

R&#xE9;cemment, il a &#xE9;t&#xE9; indiqu&#xE9; que neurogranine (Ng), un neurone-sp&#xE9;cifique, la prot&#xE9;ine post-synaptique qui est phosphoryl&#xE9;e par la prot&#xE9;ine kinase C, potentialise la transmission synaptique d&#x26;#39;une mani&#xE8;re LTP-like. Ici, nous rapportons un mutant Ng qui est incapable d&#x26;#39;&#xEA;tre phosphoryl&#xE9;e ne peut potentialiser la transmission synaptique dans l&#x26;#39;hippocampe de rat neurones CA1 et les r&#xE9;sultats dans une expression sous-maximal de la LTP. Im Zusammenhang mit lernen Potenzierung der synaptischen St&auml;rke bei Cornu Ammonis Teilfeld 1 (CA1) hippocampale exzitatorischen Synapsen ist abh&auml;ngig von der neuronalen Aktivit&auml;t und die Aktivierung der Glutamatrezeptoren. Jedoch sind die molekulare Mechanismen, die zu regulieren und Feinabstimmung den Ausdruck der langfristige Erm&ouml;glichung (LTP) nicht gut verstanden. Vor kurzem hat darauf hingewiesen worden, dass diese Neurogranin (Ng), ein Neuron-spezifische, postsynaptisches Protein, das durch Proteinkinase C, phosphoryliert ist synaptischen &Uuml;bertragung in eine LTP-&auml;hnlichen Weise Spurenelement. Hier berichten wir, dass eine Ng-Mutante, die nicht phosphoryliert werden kann synaptischen &Uuml;bertragung in Neuronen der Ratte CA1 und Ergebnisse in einem submaximal Ausdruck des LTP potenzieren kann nicht. Unsere Ergebnisse liefern die erste Beweise, dass die Phosphorylierung von Ng LTP Ausdruck regulieren kann.

En este caso, nos informan de que un mutante Ng que no puede ser fosforilada no puede potenciar la transmisi&#xF3;n sin&#xE1;ptica en las neuronas del hipocampo de rata CA1 y los resultados en una expresi&#xF3;n de subm&#xE1;ximo de la LTP.
