Menselijk hartweefsel herbergt multipotente perivasculaire precursor celpopulaties die geschikt zijn voor myocard regeneratie kunnen zijn. De hier beschreven techniek maakt de gelijktijdige isolatie en zuivering van twee multipotente stromale cel populaties geassocieerd met natieve bloedvat, dat wil zeggen CD146 + CD34 - pericyten en CD34 + CD146 - adventitia-cellen van de menselijke hartspier.
