力学は工学の基礎学問の一つであり、数理力学と理論知識の基礎に重点が置かれ、学生の実践力の育成に注意が払われています。現代の科学技術の急速な進歩に伴い、ナノ科学技術は人間の生活と経済に大きな影響を与えてきました。米国国立科学財団(NSF)の元所長であるリタ・コルウェルは、2002年にナノスケール技術が産業革命1に匹敵する影響を与えると宣言し、ナノテクノロジーは本当に新しい世界へのポータルであると述べました2。ナノスケールでの材料の機械的特性は、ナノデバイス3,4,5などのハイテクアプリケーションの開発にとって最も基本的で必要な要素の1つです。ナノスケールでの材料の力学的挙動と応力下での構造進化は、現在のナノメカニカル研究において重要な課題となっています。
近年、ナノインデンテーション技術、電子顕微鏡技術、走査プローブ顕微鏡などの開発と改善により、「in situ力学」実験はナノメカニクス研究において重要な高度な試験技術となっています6,7。明らかに、教育と科学研究の観点から、機械実験に関する伝統的な教育内容に最先端の実験技術を導入する必要があります。
しかし、微視的力学の実験は、巨視的な基礎力学の実験とは大きく異なります。一方では、関連する機器や機器はほとんどすべての大学で普及していますが、価格とメンテナンスコストが高いため、その数は限られています。短期的には、オフライン教育に十分な機器を購入することは不可能です。財源があっても、このタイプの機器は高精度の特性を備えているため、オフライン実験の管理および保守コストが高すぎます。
一方、走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)などのin situ力学実験は非常に包括的であり、高い運用要件と非常に長い実験期間があります8,9。オフライン実験では、学生は長時間集中する必要があり、誤操作は機器を損傷する可能性があります。非常に熟練した個人であっても、実験を成功させるには、適格な標本の準備から、その場力学実験のための標本のロードまで、完了するまでに数日かかります。したがって、オフライン実験教育の効率は非常に低いです。
上記の問題に対処するために、仮想シミュレーションを利用することができます。仮想シミュレーション実験教育の開発は、 in situ 力学実験機器のコストと量のボトルネックに対処できるため、学生はハイテク機器に損傷を与えることなく、さまざまな高度な機器を簡単に使用できます。また、シミュレーション実験実習では、いつでもどこでもインターネット を介して 仮想シミュレーション実験プラットフォームにアクセスすることができます。一部の低コストの楽器でも、学生は事前に仮想楽器を使用してトレーニングや練習を行うことができるため、教育効率が向上する可能性があります。
本研究では、Webベースのシステム10のアクセシビリティと可用性を考慮して、in situ 力学実験を中心に、力学と材料の基本操作に関連する一連の実験を提供できるWebベースの仮想シミュレーション実験システムを提示します。
