Danilo Cimadomo is the Science and Research manager of GeneraLife IVF. He received his BSc and MSc degrees cum laude at the University of Pavia in “Medical Biotechnologies” and “Molecular Biology and Genetics”, respectively, and its PhD at the University of Rome “Sapienza” in “Morphogenesis and Tissue Engineering”. After two internships at the University of Pavia and at the University of Cambridge, he started working at the G.en.e.r.a. centers where he contributed to the validation, implementation, and monitoring of a qPCR-based aneuploidy testing strategy for blastocyst stage PGT. His research is focused on the strategies for embryo selection. He is Author or co-Author of more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and several abstracts at Italian and international meetings. He is part of the Executive Committee of the Italian Society of embryology, reproduction, and research (SIERR). He is the Basic Science officer of the ESHRE SIG in implantation and early pregnancy. He is reviewer or associate editor of several journals in the field of reproductive medicine and embryology
