Susana Restrepo received her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from the University of Florida where she worked on structure-based drug design. She received a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus where she focused on elucidating the roles of a synaptic protein (Neurexin-3alpha) using a disease relevant mutation.
