Die Messungen der Verwirbelung und die Rotation der Partikel in turbulenten Fluidstrom sind seit langem als wichtige Ziele in der experimentellen Strömungsmechanik erkannt worden. Der Festkörperdrehung von kleinen Kugeln in Turbulenzen ist gleich der Hälfte der Flüssigkeit Verwirbelung, aber die Rotationssymmetrie von Kugeln hat eine direkte Messung ihrer Festkörperrotation erschwert. Traditionell wurde die Flüssigkeit vorticity gemessen unter Verwendung komplexer, Multisensor, Hitzdraht-Sonden 14. Aber...

In einer kürzlich erschienenen Publikation haben wir die Verwendung von Partikeln aus mehreren schlanken Arme zur Messung von Drehbewegung von Teilchen in Turbulenzen 1 gemacht. Diese Partikel können mit Hilfe von 3D-Druckern hergestellt werden, und es ist möglich, genau ihre Position messen, Ausrichtung und Drehrate unter Verwendung mehrerer Kameras. Verwendung von Werkzeugen aus schlanken Körper Theorie kann gezeigt werden , dass diese Partikel zu denen ihrer jeweiligen wirksamen Ellipsoide wirksamen Ellipsoide 2 und die Drehbewegungen dieser Partikel sind identisch haben entspricht. Teilchen mit symmetrischen Armen gleicher Länge drehen wie Kugeln. Ein solches Teilchen ist eine Buchse, die drei zueinander senkrechten Armen hat in seiner Mitte angebracht ist. Einstellen der relativen Längen der Arme des Hebers kann ein Teilchen entspricht jeder dreiachsigen Ellipsoid bilden. Wenn die Länge eines Armes gleich Null gesetzt wird, entsteht ein Kreuz, dessen äquivalente Ellipsoid ist eine Scheibe. Teilchen aus slenderArme nehmen einen kleinen Teil des festen Volumen ihrer festen Ellipsoid-Pendants nach oben. Als Ergebnis sedimentieren sie langsamer, sie leichter zu Dichte Spiel zu machen. Dies ermöglicht die Untersuchung der viel größeren Teilchen als bei festen ellipsoidale Teilchen bequem ist. Zusätzlich können Bildgebung bei viel höheren Partikelkonzentrationen durchgeführt werden, da die Teilchen einen kleineren Bruchteil des Lichts von anderen Partikeln zu blockieren. In diesem Dokument werden Verfahren zur Herstellung und Verfolgung von 3D-gedruckten Teilchen dokumentiert. Werkzeuge für die Translationsbewegung von sphärischen Teilchen aus Partikelpositionen Verfolgungs wie durch mehrere Kameras gesehen wurden von mehreren Gruppen 3,4 entwickelt. Parsa et al. 5 erweitert diesen Ansatz Stangen der von mehreren Kameras gesehen Stangen unter Verwendung der Position und Orientierung zu verfolgen. Hier stellen wir Verfahren zur Partikel einer Vielzahl von Formen Herstellung und ihre 3D-Orientierungen zu rekonstruieren. Dies bietet the Möglichkeit 3D-Tracking von Partikeln mit komplexen Formen zu einer Vielzahl von neuen Anwendungen zu erweitern. Diese Technik hat ein großes Potenzial für die weitere Entwicklung aufgrund der Vielzahl von Partikelformen, die entworfen werden können. Viele dieser Formen haben direkte Anwendungen in der Umwelt fließt, wo Plankton, Samen und Eiskristalle von Formen in einem breiten Spektrum kommen. Die Verbindungen zwischen Partikel Drehungen und Grundklein Eigenschaften turbulenter Strömungen 6 deuten darauf hin , dass das Studium der Umdrehungen dieser Teilchen , neue Wege bei der turbulenten Kaskadenprozess zu suchen zur Verfügung stellt.

Experimentelle Methoden zur Messung der Rotations- und Translationsbewegung der anisotropen Teilchen in turbulenten Fluidströmen dargestellt. 3D-Drucktechnologie wird verwendet, Partikel mit schlanken Arme an einem gemeinsamen Zentrum verbunden herzustellen. Formen erforscht sind Kreuze (zwei senkrechten Stangen), Buchsen (drei senkrechten Stangen), Triaden (drei Stäbe in dreieckigen planaren Symmetrie) und Tetraden (vier Arme in tetraedrischer Symmetrie). Verfahren zum in der Größenordnung von 10.000 fluoreszenzgefärbten Partikeln werden beschrieben. Die zeitaufgelöste Messungen von ihrer Ausrichtung und Festkörperdrehrate von vier synchronisierten Videos ihrer Bewegung in einer turbulenten Strömung erhalten werden zwischen den Gittern mit R λ = 91. In diesem relativ niedriger Reynolds - Zahl Fluss oszilliert, sind die advektiert Partikel klein genug dass sie ellipsenförmigen Tracerpartikel nähern. Wir präsentieren Ergebnisse der zeitaufgelösten 3D Trajektorien von Position und Orientierung der Partikel alsund Messungen ihrer Drehraten.
