Immune challenge impacts behavior in many species. In mammals, this adaptive behavior is often manifested as an increase in sleep. Sleep has therefore been proposed to benefit the host by enhancing immune function and thereby overcome the challenge. To facilitate genetic studies on the relationship between sleep and immune function, we characterized the effect of the immune response on sleep in Drosophila melanogaster. Behavioral features of sleep as well as the innate immune response signaling pathways are well characterized in flies and are highly conserved in mammals.

Sleep triggered by an immune response in Drosophila is regulated by the circadian clock and requires the NFkappaB Relish.

Comportement d&#39;effets immunitaires d&eacute;fi chez de nombreuses esp&egrave;ces. Chez les mammif&egrave;res, ce comportement adaptatif se manifeste souvent comme une augmentation de sommeil. Sommeil a donc &eacute;t&eacute; propos&eacute; de b&eacute;n&eacute;ficier de l&#39;h&ocirc;te en stimulant le syst&egrave;me immunitaire et ainsi relever le d&eacute;fi. Afin de faciliter les &eacute;tudes g&eacute;n&eacute;tiques sur la relation entre le sommeil et la fonction immunitaire, nous avons caract&eacute;ris&eacute; l&#39;effet de la r&eacute;ponse immunitaire de sommeil chez Drosophila melanogaster. Les caract&eacute;ristiques comportementales du sommeil ainsi que les r&eacute;ponse immunitaire inn&eacute;e des voies de signalisation sont bien caract&eacute;ris&eacute;s chez les mouches et sont hautement conserv&eacute;es chez les mammif&egrave;res.

D&eacute;clench&eacute;e par une r&eacute;ponse immunitaire chez la drosophile de sommeil est r&eacute;gul&eacute; par l&#39;horloge circadienne et exige la Relish por.

Immun Herausforderung Auswirkungen Verhalten in vielen Arten. Bei S&auml;ugetieren manifestiert sich dieses adaptiven Verhalten oft als eine Zunahme der Schlaf. Schlaf wurde daher vorgeschlagen, zum Nutzen des Hosts durch die St&auml;rkung der Immunfunktion und zu &uuml;berwinden und damit die Herausforderung. Zur Erleichterung der genetischer Studies &uuml;ber das Verh&auml;ltnis zwischen Schlaf und Immunfunktion gekennzeichnet wir den Effekt der Immunantwort auf den Schlaf in Drosophila Melanogaster. Verhaltensfeatures Schlaf sowie der angeborenen Immunantwort Signalwege zeichnen sich auch im fliegen und sind stark bei S&auml;ugetieren konserviert.

Schlaf, ausgel&ouml;st durch eine Immunantwort in Drosophila der circadianen Uhr geregelt ist und erfordert die NFkappaB-Relish.

Comportamento di impatti sfida immuni in molte specie. Nei mammiferi, questo comportamento adattivo si manifesta spesso come un aumento di sonno. Sonno pertanto &egrave; stato proposto a beneficio dell&#39;host da migliorare la funzione immunitaria e quindi superare la sfida. Per facilitare gli studi genetici sul rapporto tra il sonno e la funzione immunitaria, abbiamo caratterizzato l&#39;effetto della risposta immunitaria su sonno in Drosophila melanogaster. Caratteristiche comportamentali del sonno, cos&igrave; come la risposta immunitaria innata signaling pathways sono ben caratterizzati in mosche e sono altamente conservati nei mammiferi.

Desaf&iacute;o inmune afecta el comportamiento en muchas especies. En los mam&iacute;feros, este comportamiento adaptativo a menudo se manifiesta como un aumento en el sue&ntilde;o.
