Prostate cancer bone metastasis is reactivated by fibroblast growth factors and nuclear receptor interactions, together with autocrine/paracrine factors in tumor microenvironment. A coculture cell model using the transwell system of cocultured cells was developed to determine the genes, FGFs and FGF receptors, potentially involved in the progression to bone metastasis.
Herein we describe two approaches to characterize cell polarization events in B lymphocytes during the formation of an IS. The first, involves quantification of organelle recruitment and cytoskeleton rearrangements at the synaptic membrane. The second is a biochemical approach, to characterize changes in composition of the centrosome, which undergoes polarization to the immune synapse.
This work analyzes the vector dose and exposure time required to induce neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration, and motor impairment in this preclinical model of Parkinson's disease. These vectors encoding the human α-synuclein are delivered into the substantia nigra to recapitulate the synuclein pathology associated with Parkinson's disease.
