Hao-Kai Chou is an assistant manager of the Clinical Medicine & Advanced Applied Research Department of Point Robotics MedTech Inc. He graduated from the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering of Taiwan University.
During the graduate institute, he devoted himself to medical image processing, mainly used for coronary artery segmentation in CT images. During the period of Point Robotics, he participated in the development of spinal surgery robot system, including software functions development such as surgery planning, registration , and navigation design, and was responsible for product usability testing to analyze use errors and reduce product use risks.
