I graduated from University of Vermont in 2017 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I have recently completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute under the guidance of Dr. David Corr, where my thesis work was focused on fabrication and non-destructive characterization of in vitro cancer models. I am currently working at Albany Medical College as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology under the guidance of Dr. Margarida Barroso. My current research is focused on the initiation of drug resistance in HER2+ breast cancer cells in the context of in vitro models.
