Haley graduated with a BHSc in the Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization program at McMaster University in 2017. Her undergraduate research project involved designing and implementing a high-throughput screen to identify an inhibitor of the tetracycline resistance efflux pump, TetA. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Wright lab within the Institute for Infectious Disease Research at McMaster University. Haley’s research interests now include mechanistic enzymology, biosynthesis, and structural biology.
