<p class="jove_content">Here, we propose a protocol for intratracheal lipopolysaccharide (LPS) delivery <em>via</em> noninvasive oropharyngeal endotracheal intubation. This method minimizes the trauma of the surgical procedure for the animal and accurately delivers LPS to the trachea and then to the lungs. </p>
