Haifeng Hou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Shandong First Medical University School of Public Health in Taian City, Shandong Province, China. He received a Ph.D. from Shandong University, China. Dr. Hou worked on Epidemiological studies on chronic diseases during his training. He received funds from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province. As a visiting scholar from 2016 to 2017 in Edith Cowan University School of Medical and Health Sciences, Australia, he focused on the research on IgG N-glycosylation and its role in the development of chronic diseases. When he returned to Shandong First Medical University, he continued his research on Glycomics. He has published his works on the relationship between IgG N-glycans and hyperuricemia. In addition, Dr. Hou developed a keen focus on the research of Evidence-Based Medicine, and published his works in this area collaborated with his colleagues.
