Cody Crosby is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). He began his career in research at Harvey Mudd College, where he studied the mechanisms that regulate solid solution formation in compositionally complex alloys. Following his passion for biology, he enrolled at UT Austin in 2015 and began his studies on stem cell microenvironments in Dr. Janet Zoldan's group. Currently, he is investigating the role of extracellular matrix cues in driving the vasculogenesis of induced pluripotent stem cell-derived endothelial progenitors. Currently, he aspires to a career as a teaching professor at an undergraduate-focused university.
