Jinxia Shi is an assistant professor in the College of Life Sciences, Shanghai Normal University in Shanghai, China. She received her Ph.D. from Seoul National University. As a post-doctoral fellow (2010 to 2014) in Wenbo Ma’s lab in Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology, University of California, Riverside, she studied to develop a detection marker from pathogen secreted proteins for citrus Huanglongbing.
Dr. Shi joined in Shanghai Normal University in 2018. Her research program was focused on exploring the virulence activities of effectors in Huanglongbing and identifying and characterizing RNA silencing suppressors in P.sojea.
