Priscilla joined the Skin Tissue and Regeneration Technology Laboratory at the Skin Research Institute of Singapore, as a senior research officer. She received her Honours Degree and Master of Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Her earliest research experience was in Defence Research (DSO National Laboratories), where she was involved in the development of a prototype test kit for the detection of nerve agent in the blood, among other projects. She then went on to pursue her M.Sc.in the Department of Pharmacology (NUS), where she studied the mechanisms of drug- induced hepatotoxicity, under Prof Urs Alex Boelsterli. After that, she joined the Singapore Immunology Network (A*STAR), where she learnt about human T- cell clones and stimulation, before moving on to do Research & Development in the Molecular Diagnostics (NGS) Industry.
