Suzanne Koch obtained her Bachelor Biomedical Sciences at VU Univeristy Amsterdam in 2013, after which she continued with the research Master Cardiovascular Research at VU University Medical Center Amsterdam. For her graduation project, she went to Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, at the Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT). She received her Master’s degree in end 2015. In 2016, she started as a PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Soft Tissue Engineering and Mechanobiology group at the Department of Biomedical Technology, under the supervision of prof. dr. Carlijn Bouten and dr. ir. Anthal Smits. Her PhD project is focussed on in situ vascular tissue engineering.
