Ashley Phetsanthad is a Ph.D. candidate focusing in analytical chemistry in the Lingjun Li Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her current research interests include developing data-dependent and data-independent mass spectrometry methods to enable qualitative and quantitative neuropeptidomic and glycoproteomic analysis, and characterizing structural isomers and conformational changes via ion mobility MS. She received the NIH T32 Chemistry-Biology Interface Traineeship in 2019 to help fund her research endeavors. Previously, she received both a M.S. in analytical chemistry and a B.S. in chemistry from an accelerated dual-degree program at Drexel University in 2018 where she investigated the fundamentals of MALDI-MS in the lab of Dr. Kevin Owens.
