I am currently a part of the UCLA Steve Tisch BrainSPORT program, a collaborative environment between clinicians, patients, and basic scientists that promote translational research. My training at UCLA has provide me with unique qualities to successfully develop experiments integrating basic science research and clinical outcomes related to biomedical research and communicate their importance to policy makers and the public.
My past experiences include project development, including methodologies, grant proposal preparation and submission, data analysis (R, GraphPad Prism) and presentation. I have experience using a variety of equipment including those used for protein analysis, rodent surgery, flow cytometry, and electrophysiology. I have also managed budgets, mentored students at various levels of training, and served as a guest lecture for multiple institutions.
