Guang-Yu Yang, MD, Ph. D is a physician-scientist and tenured professor who has had a longstanding and highly significant research interest in molecular carcinogenesis and cancer chemoprevention. He mainly focuses on oxylipin inflammatory signals, chronic inflammation-induced carcinogenesis and molecular carcinogenesis. Dr. Yang currently leads a large laboratory focusing on molecular carcinogenesis and cancer chemoprevention; he is funded with several NIH R01 grants as the principal investigator.
