Chromatin ist ein hochdynamisches Nukleoprotein-Komplex von DNA und Proteinen, die verschiedene DNA-abhängige Prozesse kontrolliert werden. Chromatin-Struktur und Funktion in bestimmten Bereichen durch die lokale Anreicherung von Histon post-translationale Modifikationen (hPTMs) und Varianten, Chromatin-bindende Proteine, einschließlich Transkriptionsfaktoren und DNA-Methylierung reguliert.
