Das Verfahren wird hier durch die Verwendung der Maus GL26 Gliom-Zellen, die konstitutiv exprimieren mCitrine fluoreszierendes Protein, genannt GL26-Cit, die direkte Tumorzellvisualisierung mittels Fluoreszenzmikroskopie 21 erlauben demonstriert. Diese Zellen werden stereotaktisch in das Gehirn eines syngenen C57BL / 6J-Mäusen eingeimpft und für 24, 48 oder 72 Stunden vor der Euthanasie Maus wachsen.
