Dr. Chen received her Ph.D. in Molecular Cell & Developmental Biology from University of Texas at Austin. She was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Chen started her own independent research as a tenure track assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University in 2008 and is a full professor now. Dr. Chen’s laboratory investigates epigenetic regulation in various stem cell lineages during animal development, using model organisms Drosophila, C. elegans and mice.
