Our protocol describes a modified parasternal long axis view for swift and precise localization of the left anterior descending artery. Using this approach, we studied dynamic changes in coronary flow reserve following myocardial ischemia-reperfusion in mice. This study presents a modified PLAX view that saves time and offers convenience for scientific researchers.
Additionally, the study found that CFR increased the base reperfusion time extension, but remained lower than pre-procedure, highlighting the importance of early monitoring after PCI. Our protocol simplifies locating complex angles between the platform, mice, probe, and murine CFR.
