High-grade hemostatic devices are essential for laparoscopic hepatectomy. However, these devices are not generalized in basic medical organizations. Therefore, a suite of simple and easy hemostatic devices is shown in this article, which can make the laparoscopic hepatectomy easier to perform.

Numerous studies have demonstrated the advantages of anatomic resection. Nonetheless, whether anatomic resection can increase R0 resection rates remains controversial. Consequently, the present study describes an innovative procedure involving the en bloc concept combined with anatomic resection in laparoscopic hepatectomy, which can reduce postoperative recurrence and metastasis.

This protocol describes the laparoscopic resection of colorectal cancer liver metastases combined with ultrasound-guided microwave ablation. This technique can safely, effectively, and accurately treat refractory liver metastases <3 cm, reduce postoperative complications, and accelerate the postoperative rehabilitation of patients.
