여기서 우리는 염색체에 단일 궤적(도 2)에서다른 두 B. 아틸리스 균주 사이의 종 내 경쟁을 모니터링하고 시각화하는 매우 예시적인 방법을 제시한다. 두 균주는 형광YFP와 CFP를 인코딩yfp 및 cfp 유전자로 표시하고, 다른 영양 조건하에서 cocultivate. 시간이 지남에 따라 샘플링하고 각 배양소의 생존자는 일반적인 스테레오 형광 현미경을 사용하여 쉽게 모니터링 할 수 있습니다. 본 논문에 기재된 절차는 시간이 지남에 따라 세포 집단에서 각각 유익하고 해로운 돌연변이의 급속한 클로날 팽창 및 제거를 시각화하기 쉽고 적합합니다.
